Strong community is vital, productive and important. There are things that people can do only as families and neighbours that are vital to a good and satisfied life. The real power depends on a community of likeminded people. People who share ways of thinking and acting, who learn from each other and imitate each other’s actions.
Our meeting today was truly informative and useful in helping the community clarify various concerns regarding how to build safe their home, some important design aspects of earthquake resistant buildings and the behaviour of materials.
The meeting was addressed the reconstruction of Chohel Nani in a collective and coherent way with focus on keeping the cultural heritage intact, also address the 10 key messages that consist, among others, building details, material quality, foundation and shape.
Thanks to the experience and knowledge of this field from the local engineer Sabindra Sherstha it was possible for them to have a good understanding of technical aspects when rebuilding a safe home.
When we link-up our individual qualities with those of others, they are amplified. Collectively, we are able to create the things each of us needs for a rich and understandable work.
